The trick is that Dio is missing one of the tips of his thumbs if an interview I read like four years ago is still accurate. So you just need to cuff Spider-Man and remove his gloves. If he is wearing a falsey thumb tip on either hand then he’s your man.

It’s from the new line of Joe-scale Marvel figures. Now I can pretend that Stalker, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and the Punisher were all in ‘Nam together!
Absolutely NOT to 2nd guess you here, but…. I was at first wondering if comparing Dio to Dr. Strange might have been a (thematically) “better” way to go.
But, Doc is usually shown keeping his thumb out, isn’t he?
More the; “American sign-language spell of ‘I love you’ ” isn’t it?
Oh well… see? Who am I to try and suggest “better” than what Sims has already proven to be perfect?
