At least you’d get a good close-up of some interesting mementoes and gewgaws on the bottom of those same sandalled feet, and could collapse safe in the knowledge that you’d been drop-punted in the chops by some well-travelled and worldly footwear…
Would face kicks dealt out by Conan qualify as torture under the Geneva Convention, I wonder?

It’s funny, reading the Savage Sword stuff, and reconciling this Conan with the Conan of …the Adventurer fame. I know Roy wrote the script to that film, but really? You’d hardly know it.
