  1. “You don’t get it, boy. This isn’t a mudhole. This is a color printing press…and I’m the cyan.”

  2. Batman chased Willy Wonka into his factory pursuing a lead on a little person smuggling ring. Wonka tossed a wad of gum at his face, and he swallowed it.

And now he’s blue. But not a blueberry. Because he had the foresight to spray himself with some Bat-Anti-Becoming-A-Blueberry-Due-To-Weird-Gum-Spray.

    Oh, and he’s pretty pissed.

  3. So the answer to Batman’s musical question from that episode of JLU is “Yes.”

Which is incidentally now the second best episode of a DC animated series where Batman sings.

    We live in awesome times.

  4. “They’ll kill us if they can, Bruce. Every year they grow smaller. Every year they hate us more. We must not remind them that cyans walk the Earth.”

“Fifty million dyed sapphire…if I am weak.”

I azure you, that was the best I could do. And I tried until I was blue in the face.

  5. I would pay many an internet dollar to read more of bluesader’s Batman vs. Willy Wonka story. I’d pay $60 for reals if that’s the plot of Arkham Asylum 2: Upside Down From A Gargoyle Boogaloo.

  6. The only question I have is…

…How many internet dollars exactly, Brad Warrior?

Because Chris is going to need a lot of money for legal fees when both Warner Bros. and the estate of Roald Dahl come after him for hosting distribution of copyrighted materials.

I should be okay, though. TheBluesader is not actually my real name.

  7. Hmm, this is getting theoretically expensive, but it will be worth it if this leads to a video game where Batman facekicks many an Oompa Loompa, so I may have to dig deep to make sure this happens.

  8. Willy Wonka is a musical, that episode of JLU proves Batman can sing…

….i think this should happen. Gene Wilder and Batman in the same place, just belting it out to the rafters…
I just made an addition to my idea of heaven.

  9. Willy Wonker has all the best traits of all the best Batman advisary’s anyway. And I’m starting to think of the different mistakes the 6 robin’s (yep that’s right) could all make in their journey through the factory. (Damian as Veruka Sault, Tim as Mike TV… man this thing writes itself).
