I was so satisfied to see Elsa in there twice. I miss Nextwave so much.
Heheheheh – down here in Aus, we call that the “Wooloomooloo uppercut”, named after the Sydney waterfront suburb, or “taking one to the Niagaras” – rhyming slang for Niagara Falls, of course.
What are the Good manners and hospital gown ones from? Both are familiar but I can’t place them…
I think the gown one is from Sleeper, the flashback to Miss Misery’s origin story.
I should have recognized that one. I just reread Season 1 for Sleeper…
So, gentlemen: behave.
The “good manners” one looks like it was drawn by John McCrea, which usually automatically links to Garth Ennis… Is that John Constantine taking one to the Niagaras?
(Please, God: Another Nextwave series, please. The “Heroic Age” is starting, and how can you have one of those without The Captain?)
Indeed. Who can think of heroism and valor without the name “Captain ☠☠☠☠” springing to mind? Truly, he is an inspiration to us all.
Sims proves once again that the only thing funnier than testicular trauma is an indignant comic book fan.
Apparently, consecutive images of groin shots is too subtle for some people.
And did anyone stop to think how painful it would be to take a whip to the nuts?
I like the comment section at Comics Alliance needs a little celebration of feminism, if you know what I’m saying.

God, Nextwave was great.
I was so bummed at the recent New Avengers announcement cause it meant Immonen was tied up on something not Nextwave again.

The ‘good manners’ panel in question is from an Ennis Punisher issue, from the Marvel Knights ongoing. That’s Det. Marty Soap getting one in the pills. guy never catches a break.
