Marvel’s 1984 A-Team Comic Pities Fools, Hates Planes

Today at ComicsAlliance, I’ve taken a look back at the low-fi adventures of the A-Team, as seen in the 1984 three-issue mini-series! It’s a strange series and the article takes some weird turns as I draw comparisons to the team dynamics of the Fantastic Four, but rest assured: The article definitely includes a nunchuk battle.

Also today…

…I put up the video for Mike Relm’s Iron Man 2 trailer remix, which is ridiculously awesome but probably did not warrant a separate post of its own.

So go forth! Read! Consume! Love me with your money!

  1. I do have the trade version of the A-Team comic. Why weren’t there more issues?

Sadly, I hear the movie is going more towards the serious side, kind of like Clash of the Titans, and that’s just wrong.

  2. Well, 10 trillion comics to choose from, and we end up writing about the same 26-year old obscure comic on the same day. Synchronicity is an odd, odd thing…

  3. “The A-Team #2” was one of the first comics in my collection. “B.A. Battles the Sumo” has had a proud place in my longboxes since the beginning. Its pages drip Liquid Awesome, don’t they?

  4. For reasons I’m not really sure of, I have a Sonic the Hedgehog / Mr T and the T-Force joint comic in German.
