  1. the fact that batman has a cape that transforms into a jetpack is exactly why Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the greatest television show ever made EVER.

  2. I love this article. I laughed impossibly hard at the different specialty batarangs. I’m beginning to realize that there’s so much more to Batman than what I remember of the TAS cartoon, and I love it.

  3. Why use Batarang X instead of the Batpack? C’mon Chris, it’s right there in the caption…Batarang X is silent! Like a bat! Arang X!

  4. nice article. if i ever have a batman issue, i know where to go for help. you should make business cards:

by the way, ‘batpoon’ doesn’t sound like what i think it sounds like, does it?

  5. Well, you only really need to use the bat-jetpack when pigeons start stealing jewelry. And that only happens, what — 2 or 3 times a year?

  6. One problem with “batpoon” is that it implies that normal harpoons have something to do with something called “har”. Or a hypothetical hero named “Harman”.

  7. I love that not only Superman has no time to evade a the batpoon, he actually seems concerned it will hit him.

Then again, if I were Clark, I’d probably worry everything in Batman’s utility belt had trace elements of Kryptonite. You know, just in case.

  8. To me, the idea of flinging batpoon at anyone or anything is pretty disturbing. I mean unless you are trying to distract Man-Bat.

    What’s next – the batawang?
