Ask Chris #9: Most Likely To Succeed

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for another thrilling installment of Ask Chris, my comics culture Q&A column! This week, I discuss the new characters that I hope will last, invent a new numerical grading rubric that may come to rival The Sonny Hooper Rating System, and throw some awesome Batman panels in there, because c’mon, this is me we’re talking about.

If you’ve got a question on comics or comics culture that you’d like me to answer, put it on Twitter with the hashtag #askchris or shoot an email to comicsalliance (at) gmail.com with [Ask Chris] in the subject line!

  1. Judging by the comments over at Comics Alliance, Chris Sims is now the inernet’s foremost Batmanologist and Anal-Sex-In-Comic-Books-ologist

  2. Which is why he was asked to review the Batman Porn trailer.

God provides us a savant when we need one. Amen!

  3. I got to say that Mike Allred is the most dreamiest looking man in comics.

  4. I understand why so many comic readers hate the big bang theory without watching it,but I really don’t understand why it’s so horrible that ONE of 4 characters is arrogant. Sure its a stereotype, but we’ve all seen enough real life sheldons to know it’a a highly accurate portrayal. Like it or not,the show realistically represents the subculture we are in.

  5. If you don’t want people to comment on “Big Bang Theory”, then perhaps you shouldn’t have chosen to answer that question. Oooh, unless you’re just being all meta and acting pompous and superior to show that the characterization you attributed to them is accurate.

    Well played, Sims.
