Incredible Hercules writer Greg Pak and Jimmy Olsen artist R.B. Silva have recently released a new comic, Vision Machine. That in and of itself isn’t huge news, but the fact that they’re releasing it digital-only, for free, with a Creative Commons license that allows for free non-commercial distribution and adaptation, as well as distributing the upcoming print collection at conventions and film festivals, also for free? That’s kind of a big deal.
So to find out more, I talked to Pak about the comic, the future of digital distribution, and how nice it would be if we could just throw spare change at people we like on the Internet.
It, uh, makes more sense when he says it.
