You’re tellin’ me, buddy.

So you didn’t get comics, either? What, because of Independence Day?
BTW, did you ever see the latest Hulk movie? Color me unimpressed…it was like watching a checklist get filled out.
So does this mean we shouldn’t talk about you being a cop yet?
There was stuff in the latest Hulk movie I liked. There was stuff in Ang Lee’s Hulk that I liked. I think the best Hulk movie would find a middle ground between the two.
I would kinda like them to do one with the actual origin or at leasts something close to it.

Stan Lee is dead.

Rob…do not scare us like that!
lion…I didn’t have any real problems with Ang Lee’s version. Aside from Nick Nolte’s teethmarks all over the scenery, it kick lots of ass.
Back on-topic: what was up Hulk’s butt in that panel?
“HULK WANT GO CLUB NOW!!”
“Well, so do I, man, but I told Hank and Carol we’d wait for them to show up, and-”
“HULK WAITS FOR NO ONE!”
“See, Hulk, this is why we don’t invite you out on the town more.”
looks like the people i see at work (car dealers) saying “WHAT, BATHROOM CLOSED?!?! THAT’S BULLS**T!!!!”
My favourite part of the movie was when Hulk swatted Emil, very hard, into a tree, and the audience went very quiet, and then a little girl squealed “he’s DEAD!” and started giggling and laughing like a…well, like a little girl, actually.
As per the movie: I thought it was a wonderful adaptation of the tv series. I liked the tv series, but I’m guessing most Hulk fans these days are into Planet/World War/etc.
And yeah, Rob, dude: sheesh! :)
I liked it better when Doom said that, some Runaways comic or whichever.
Well, there were no national holidays in Britain today, so the comics came out as usual. Though on a national-holiday-related note, this month’s Captain Britain and MI13 almost made me feel patriotic. Almost.
Don’t do that, Rob! I just about had a heat attack there!
Heat attacks can be very serious during the height of summer in Scotland. You can be blinded by the steam from the evaporating torrential rain.
That’s funny, I thought I had a filter set up to stop blatant comment section spam.
God, was there ever a more gloriously awesome artist on the Hulk than Sal Buscema? Only Kirby surpasses him, and only Byrne or Keown came close, but to my mind Buscema’s Hulk is just the definitive look of the character.
Stacy
I agree, Stacy. That’s exactly what comes to mind when i first think of the hulk, is the Buscema version. then Lou Ferrigno.
