This week, Uzi and I struggle through the Ultimate Penultimate Smallville, and I hit my breaking point when I’m confronted with Smallville Solomon Grundy and a live-action “homage” to Legend of Zelda. Seriously.
But there’s only one episode left, and this Friday, all our suffering comes to an end! Finally! At last! Be there!
i’m sorry to see Smallville’s idiocy drag you down. tho it wasn’t entirely unpredicted. maybe you can go back to shelling out a few Worst of Netflix s, bounce back.
Ah, you should cover the whole series, just to see how bad it really was. Really, there was a lot of potential, but it would only have lasted 4-5 seasons on a real network. Or you can look at this year-by-year retrospective of the worst episodes.
As for Toyman? I was thinking “Poor Man’s Wayne Knight.”
Hey, I like the actor who played Toyman (Chris Gauthier). Not as, you know, Toyman, obviously, but he’s a staple of Vancouver-filmed basic cable shows.
I didn’t mean the actor was a Poor Man’s Wayne Knight. I just figured the one thing that would be more annoying about the episode would be to see him shaking his finger in a loop, going “Uh uh uhhhhh! Uh uh uhhhhh!”
