  1. Finally…someone acknowledges the greatest of street fighters. Who needs Shungokusatsu when you have The Legendary Super Taunt! OYAJIIII!

  2. Mr. Sims, this entirely off topic but when did you change your blog’s motto to Team Rocket’s?

When I got back after my birthday. I’d been “History’s Greatest Villain” for like a year.

  3. Dan really is incredible, I’ve always loved how his voice-actor usually manages to express more emotion in a single bout than most of us will in their entire lives.
Also, that swanky new super he got in Street Fighter 4 that begins with a close-up of him punching his opponent right in the face is comedy gold.

You know, I actually found that scene in Sakura Ganbaru where he and Sakura parted ways kind of touching. The book was mostly just funny, but it did have a few good character moments.

  4. Incidentally, another element of Sakura Ganbaru I liked was that Dan wasn’t completely useless. He was still an egotistical blowhard, and he got his ass kicked a fair bit, but a lot of his advice seemed sound, and he could actually beat unimportant characters.

  5. Dan is awesome. I like how he’s gone from being a pisstake of SNK to being a character in his own right, and he’s so much fun to play as, he has the best collection of outfit colours, and his reverse Shungokusatsu in the Marvel vs Capcom games, where he blows himself up, is hilarious.

    Good old Dan.

Ahh, yes, the Legendary Super Taunt. Once I was fighting a friend of mine as Dan and he actually let me do the entire thing, without interrupting it.

Then he wiped the floor with me. Good times.
