Wrestler Wisdom Fridays #25

Each week, the ISB endeavors to enlighten our readers by offering the unedited words of the Warrior Scholars of the squared circle, for who among us cannot benefit from the wisdom of Macho Madness, Hulkamania, or the American Dream? The instruction we offer should be considered carefully, meditated on, and applied to one’s own life for the enrichment of the self and others.

  1. Stupid smarky Toronto booing the Rock at WM18, now he had to heel turn on ’em.

  2. That is why he’s the People’s Champion. You can’t learn that kind of rapport with the crowd.

  3. Evil Rock was so awesome in his short run there. Even if he did probably make Mick Foley cry by destroying the cheep pop.

  4. I was at that show. It was the first time I realized how stupid it was to cheer your city just cause someone said its name. So it was entertaining, AND educational. Thank you, The Rock!

  5. Hollywood Rock was the best. Although I’m sure the ladies were disappointed to learn that the Scorpion King has a tiny ding-a-ling.

  6. Hollywood Rock may have only lasted four months, but what a genius run that was. From the four-minute pre-entrance video to the Hurricane feud to “oh, you know the Rock’s accountant, Ira Goldberg”, that was so, so great.
