Man, Fraggle Rock for me came out at exactly the wrong time: I wasn’t happy that it replaced the Muppet Show, and I was at exactly the age most likely to dickishly refuse to watch after reading that it was supposed to “skew younger” than the previous show.
When I found out the show was on Netflix Watch Instantly, I sat down and watched 4 or 5 episodes in one sitting. That show is still remarkably entertaining, even to my present 27 year old self.
Oh, man, you didn’t mention the episode where they discover a lost Fraggle tribe deep within the caverns–and the new tribe is cannibalistic. Yes, that was an actual episode. Made quite an impression on me, as I remember it still.
