Road. Warrior. Batman.

I realize that my relationship with my readers has been… somewhat adversarial at times, but occasionally, one of you guys comes through in a pretty big way. Such is the case with Alert Reader Dave, who discovered unused designs for a 1985 action figure line that recast the Justice League as robots, “hi-tech” anti-heroes, and shameless riffs on Road Warrior.

They are amazing.

So amazing in fact that I’ve got a full rundown of the sadly unproduced figures today at ComicsAlliance, starting with Hi Tech Bunnyrabbit Batman and moving rigihta long to the greatest action figure that was never made. Enjoy, and thanks, Dave!

  1. So… How the hell is “Hi-Tech” Batman supposed to run or jump with those “Hi-Tech” civil war relics strapped to the front of his legs like that?

So… How often does “Road Warrior” Batman sodomize himself with that knife strapped to his ankle? And what’s with all the belts? is that a “choker”? Jesus…

So… Robotic Batman? Ok, you’re cool. Especially since, even though you’re a robot, you still decided to wear a cape.

  2. Am I the only one here disappointed that this isn’t about Batman wearing spiked American football pads and shouting “WHAT A RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHH!”?
