In modern day WWE the phrase “paying the price” has been replaced with “Triple H is the greatest wrestler of all time” in terms of frequency of utterance.
By the way, Chris, did you forget to post a link to your “10 Most Depressing Funky Winkerbean Strips of June, 2010” on the ISB? I only found it doing (for reasons I won’t go into here) a Google search for “Funky Winkerbean death.”
