  1. This was something I’ve been looking forward to for a while. Udon’s own Street Fighter Legends with Sakura isn’t half bad either. They seem to have the video game adaption thing down pat.

  2. Boys don’t cry – they just punch people in the back of the head. MANLY fight comics only feature facial contact violence – unless the crotch is involved, of course.

Unless – was that guy hit so hard he pulled an Exorcist 180-degree move? Great day in the morning!

  3. Wait, this series has Karin in it?

Christ, I must know, how awesome is she? Or did they just make her one big spoiled rich girl joke.

She’s about the same as she is in Street Fighter Legends, but without the hot dog eating contest. There’s a great bit where she kicks through Sakura’s window at night and challenges her to a fight, then assures her that she’ll take care of the window, so that Sakura won’t have to worry about anything. It’s fun, fun stuff.

There’s no crossover with Rival Schools, is there?

Not in this one. Did Corey Lewis’s Rival Schools ever finish?

  5. As far as I know, it went about two or three issues before vanishing into the fog, much like Udon’s Street Fighter comic. I know the team on that is working on the art for the new X-Box Live version of SF2: Hyper, but I have no idea what happened to Corey Lewis and Rival Schools.

  6. This would actually be the comic where Karin debuted. She wound up showing up in Street Fighter Alpha 3 (where she totally has the best stage music) because the creator was hired by Capcom as a character designer.

    The More You Know!

  7. Excellent. Dan Hibiki is pretty much guaranteed to make any street fighter product better.
