I am crying big, fat, juicy tears. I loved his work so much.
Thank you and good afternoon.
Thanks for so many wonderful stories
We all are. Nice tribute.
Batman…is saying “eat THIS, Jim Aparo!”
Fantastic tribute, Chris.
I had the good fortune to meet the man at last year’s Mega-Con. I’ve never met a nicer guy in the industry. You’ll be missed, Dick.
The earliest comics I remember are Batman stories out of the late 70s and early 80s. Thanks to Neal Adams and Dick G., the bar was set so high that I’ve been a surly jerk about almost everything since.
I know that doesn’t necessarily sound like a good thing. But it is. Thanks, Dick, for keeping the joint so classy for so long.
Other than Julie Schwartz, I can’t think of another person so closely associated with DC over the last half-decade.
He left his mark on some very good work.
Wow, I’ve all the tributes I have read – that’s been the best. That is just really awesome.
