  1. Oh, did Reborn #6 come out? I go to the store so infrequently that I picked up #5 and then this issue called “Who Will Wield the Shield” that totally spoiled issue #6. Don’t know why Marvel didn’t simply not release it until Reborn completed. Ugh.

  2. Cap (Steve) showed up in Invincible Iron Man about a month ago… I haven’t read a single issue of Reborn and had it spoiled.

  3. Did you really think Captain America Reborn wouldn’t end with Captain America being reborn?

Well, Batman R.I.P. didn’t end with Batman resting or in peace.

  4. Which follows the same principle. Big-name superheroes don’t die. Finding out that they are not dead should not be a surprise.

  5. Simsy, the exact outcome isn’t really what’s in question, but how it gets there and what condition the characters are in is what I wonder about.

  6. C’mon, Piersy: Did you really think Captain America Reborn wouldn’t end with Captain America being reborn?

… didn’t you called us fools for expecting Batman R.I.P. to end with Batman dead?

  7. Personally I’d liked have liked it if they blitzed us with Reborn #6, #602 and Wield, since I’m of the school of thought that you can never have too much of good thing at once.

  8. The principle really is different with deaths than rebirths, though.

C’mon, it’s the way we’re trained. “Character Dies!” I’ll have to see it to believe. “Character Comes Back to Life!” Well duh.

  9. Thought this was gonna be a Weapon Brown article for a sec. You should see what ol’ Chuck is up to there!
