Chris, between dropping the occasional Sparks and Elvis Costello references, and now doing a whole scene of Human Traffic, I’m prepared to award you with Honourary British Citizenship. ONE OF US ONE OF US.
(yes, Sparks are american- but they’re the most british americans EVER)
I don’t have to start using all those surplus Us to colour my language, do I?
the Us are optional. You DO have to start spelling Defence with a C, though. It’s in the rules.
Optional U’s can lead to a case of the Canadians.
This is one of those jokes the British play on us isn’t it? Like Benny Hill being funny. Just another fake out right?
This made my day.

And that’s why we had to fight a revolution.
This is like the “Wassup’ for a new generation.
Only, you know, funny.
Wouldn’t Zod die if he got his hands on that green k?
I want to agree with Doktor Puppykicker, but my mind still can’t process that clip.
As for Zod, Didn’t Superman Adventures tried to establish that Zod was from the same place as Supergirl and wasn’t affected by Kryptonite? I may be remembering wrong, but it was undone by the series itself where Kara was indeed affected by Kryptonite.
A lifetime of watching BBC productions has not prepared me for this moment.
Just Imagine… Tom Tomorrow creating DCU Decisions
And that’s why we had to fight a revolution
That’s revoulution to you, mate. No, wait, that’s not right. Sod.
Anyway, nice one!
It is interesting both with no `u’s and `z’s where `s’s sometimes go that the American spelling of English words are closer to the older tradition spellings where as the English spellings are mroe `modern’ (i.e. changed a while back to look more French, when that was popular) especially when one considers that since the French `won’ the war of indendance for the Americans (sending themselves bankrupt to the point of revolution in the process) you could easily think it’d be the other way round… (although, I could be wrong on all counts) I mean, someone bought me that movie for Xmass years ago. Truly has a gift never been more in the spirit of the season, um, bruv.
Wow, The Master was really foul-mouthed when he was younger.
